Le Cran Cran

Le Cran Cran was a group that played tradition music from the Occitan region in the south of France. Between 1992 and 1993, Le Cran Cran published 2 albums, Move and Survive and Big in France.

The name is based on a French idiom, cesser le cran cran, meaning shut that racket up!

Not having the master tapes, I have taken cassette tapes and converted them to .mp3 files. The sound is a little muddy, which is what can be expected after 20 years on a tape.
